Challenges...challenges

Hello fellow crafters!  Well, I am feeling much better with the sinus infection...just in time for the holiday weekend.  Although I had to travel this week for work, I was able to get a birthday card in for a few challenges.

 

Over at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog, the challenge theme is color: pink, orange and yellow.  I hope I'm not too late for it!!! I just used scrap paper, embossed the yellow cardstock, punched the border, stamped the image and used puffy paint for the icing on the cupcakes!

Paying it Forward...

Hello crafters...and happy Saturday!  Hope all is well with you.  I'm battling a sinus infection and it's really got me down.  It's no fun being sick, especially when I have to travel next week for my job! So, I'm taking medicine and crafting! Best remedy for me!!!

Today I wanted to share with you a few pieces I made for my SOC friends.  There is an event going on at Scraps of Color called "Pay It Forward With Creativity 2013" where you are paired with a couple of people and you make something for them.  It was a lot of fun and I wanted to show you what I made.

First for RiaRia, I made an African set.  She told me she had a collection, so I wanted to make something to add to it!

 For the candle, I just used some tissue paper, cut to size and used my heat gun. Then added a ribbon and some bling!

For my other SOC friend, Renee;  I made her initial and a picture frame...she loves Disney!

Mother's Day Cards

Hello fellow crafters!  Hope life is treating you well and you had a wonderful weekend, especially all the mothers!  I have been extremely busy and just now had a chance to blog.

I want to first thank my friend and fellow crafter MJ for nominating me for the Liebster Award. I enjoyed the weekend, spending it with my mom who is 87 years young! We went shopping and all the family just got together and had a good time!

Just wanted to take this time to share some Mother's Day cards I made for my family members.

Used MME paper and Hero Arts Flowers & Butterflies - Sizzix Framelits w/stamps along with copics and pearl embellishments.

Used scraps had around, embossed chocolate cardstock and added flower embellishment and sentiment...I like pink and chocolate together! 

For these quick cards, I used my favorite paper by MME, cut the flowers with my cameo and added ribbon.

And lastly, I frayed the edges of the paper, although you can't see it that well on the card! Not sure who the image is by, colored with copics. Used spellbinder's die-cuts and added bling.

Get Well Soon

Hello fellow crafters.  Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. It was chilly, but sunny here in Ohio. 

Want to take this time to share with you a get well card I made for a few challenges going on.  The paper is from MME. Image used is from Hero Arts Stamp/Die set. I colored the butterfly with copics and added some bling although can't see that well in this photo!
